HEY, I’M BREE.

BUSINESS BUILDER // WORLD TRAVELLER // WANNABE DOG MUM // TYPE A // TAURUS // OAT LATTE LOVER

Floristry, for me, started with bouquet photos in front of a crumpled sheet hanging from my wardrobe, wondering if anyone would ever pay real money for anything I was creating. Freshly redundant from my world‑travel corporate job at Google, my confidence was on the floor, and starting a floristry business felt like a risky little idea I wasn’t sure I was qualified to pursue.

At the time, I didn’t take myself or my business seriously. I’d post cute bouquet pics, say yes to anything that came my way, throw out random discounts and then wonder why it all still felt… small. Eventually, I drew a line in the sand and decided to treat floristry like a real business, not just a “cute” creative outlet - because the truth is, I was all in. Returning to corporate life was not an option. I'd found my passion, and that’s when April & Fritz Floral Design was born.

I taught myself how to price properly, sell without cringing, design a client journey that actually made sense, and stretch my comfort zone instead of hiding behind “I’m still figuring it out.” One decision at a time, the girl with the sheet‑backdrop photos became the florist behind April & Fritz, booking $15k brides, working dream weddings, and building a six‑figure business.

As April & Fritz grew, my DMs filled with florists asking how to raise their prices without scaring clients off, stop saying yes to under‑budget weddings “for the portfolio,” hit send on quotes without wanting to throw up, and finally stop riding the feast‑or‑famine cycle of enquiries, all‑nighters, and quiet months that made them question if they should just get a “real job” again. That’s when it clicked - my work wasn’t just about arranging flowers anymore. It was about helping other florists build the kind of business I wished I’d had a roadmap for.

And that's why this corner of the internet exists. For florists just like you so you don’t have to piece it all together alone. You bring the eye for design, the obsession with flowers, and the vision that won’t leave you alone - and you’ll be met with strategy, mindset, and honest support to turn it into a business that looks good on the outside and feels solid on the inside, from your first paid bouquet to fully booked seasons and beyond.
